MONSTRUM opened on the last Saturday of Carnival with new “horrible” works and “atrocious” performances, questioning what a monster truly is. Derived from the Latin monstrum, from monere, meaning prodigy or marvel, the exhibition explored what appears anomalous and indecipherable.
